American Robin

I've had such a good case of Spring Fever that I haven't felt like sitting at the computer but I figured I should at least put up a picture so people will know I'm still alive!

This Robin was in the same tree as the Flicker from the previous post. I took the picture about 10 days ago and used the same Photoshop technique on it.

I'm out of hiding today too. I thought I saw a robin stomping around in the willows at the back of our property but it was too far away to tell for sure.

But you - you have blatant robins. Spring!

Hey there Jim! Thanks for the post--I WAS wondering if you were okay. I suspected you were busy--and Spring will do that to a person, especially after all the snow you got. It's also Spring migration time, so you should see lots more neat birds coming through now. I've been seeing different warblers lately--Audubon's, MacGillavrey's, Yellow, Wilson's, and Common Yellowthroat (which you may get in your marsh around the reedy areas. Listen for their 'witchety-witchety-witchety' call).
Cheers!

Very much enjoyed chatting with you this morning and admiring your piece of Paradise. You have given me all sorts of ideas for my yard - can't wait to start implementing them! Got lots of chuckles from your posts (Bill & I are heading down to see John Prine this Friday night...) as well as some points to ponder. Thanks for sharing!!

Madcap-

Yeah, the Robins here will almost let you reach out and touch them. I've had them come within a few inches of me when I'm weeding

Linda Navroth-

We get Wilson's Warblers here in the garden during the summer.

Linda Quiroz-

Hi neighbor. I had fun talking with you too and I'm glad you enjoyed some of the blogposts.

Peggy and I love John Prine, I think I have just about all of his albums, where is he playing Friday?

I hope you'll come back by when the garden is in bloom, and bring Bill!

John Prine was at the Wilshire Theater and he put on a great show. Did 20 some songs - mostly from his first couple albums - and almost made me cry with Angel from Montgomery. Only bad thing was going to Beverly Hills on a Friday night - so many people and cars.
Lots of green coming up in my garden too and lots of new birds here. Doesn't look like we lost too much over the winter. Will stop by again soon - Bill is intrigued by your hula girl beer tap.
