Actual gardening took place today, compost was turned, greens were planted and weeds were pulled. More weather on the way tomorrow evening though.

Do you cover up your frames at night for frost or to keep heat in?

Yes we will cover these beds with fiberglass panels until the plants develop their true leaves. With all the weather we've been having, it was nice to get started on some planting before the next storm, maybe tomorrow night!
How exciting...the hope, the joy, the promise of planting a new garden! Best of luck to you!
looks like so much fun...!
isnt this spring weather just wild? i love the snow pictures on your blog here....down here at the coast it has been wet and windy and very wild. the air smells so good! Good luck with the small plantings you've begun.

I did a bit of gardening too; I got some of the raised beds cleaned out and a few greens planted. It's so exciting!
