Makin' Tracks...
During our brisk morning walk yesterday, Peggy, Dallas, and I left these fresh tracks in the 4 inches of new snow that fell Sunday night. Today is sunny and colder, 0° F when we woke up at 5:30, and only 28° at half past noon.
A nice day to be at home.

I love snow. Very peaceful looking pic!
I see Dallas' tracks headed straight for the nearest tree...
Well, now, Jim, If'n it were only zero degrees last night around here (in Central wisconsin) we'd feel pretty comfortable. But last night it got down to -22 and today a high of maybe 8.
I'm looking forward to this weekend when the daytime temp's actually reach the high 20s. That will be the first time in probably a month and several nights in a row where the lows stay above zero.
Yowza, a veritable heat wave. I'm gonna run around in shirt sleeves!

Yes, I've been hearing about the extreme cold you folks are experiencing back east, where a 93 year-old man froze to death in his own home because he was $1,000behind on his electric bill so his service was cut.
Very sad indeed...
Stay warm friend, spring is moving our way.
