Dinner...

ONE DELECTABLE GARDEN SALAD

Peggy put together a delicious salad this evening with fresh home-grown greens, chives & chive flowers from our garden, and organic tomatoes, avocados and carrots from the store.
The salad was so colorful it begged to have its picture taken.
She served this with wild caught Alaska Salmon, seeds & nuts, and her own French Mustard Dressing.
Simple and delicious!

Absolutely wonderful! Would Peg be willing to share her recipe for the French Mustard dressing? The whole meal sounds yummy. =)

i spotted the chive flowers right away. i like to pick off the individual florets (i'm guessing at the term for the little flowers) to use as garnish on all sorts of dishes. glad to see someone else likes them.

Such a beautiful salad. Yum. We had a homegrown one last night too. Three types of lettuce, some carrots, and early tomatoes from one of our plants that we let over-winter in our sunroom. Your picture reminds me that I forgot to add the chives. What a beautiful color that adds to the salad.

My mouth is watering. I've been getting lots of lettuce, arugula, and spinach here. I'll have to start using my chive flowers too.
