THE WOLF MOON

The Wolf Moon was named by Native Americans for the wolves howling during cold winter nights. It is also known as The Old Moon, or the After Yule Moon.
The photo was taken from our deck last night at 9:19.

So that is why I woke up with that moon shining in my face about 3:00 the other night! I need to get drapes.
I was wondering why it looked so big as it appeared over the horizon as I was driving home last night. It was a beautiful moonlit night here.

It was amazing over here in UK too. A cloudless still night, and people were nudging each other to go outside and look. One to remember.
