Painting The House...

...I spent much of today on this ladder Click on photo to enlarge - © 2009 peggy otterstrom

The past several days we've been prepping and painting the house in between our other activities around here. We're hoping to have the whole thing done before the weather turns on us.

It was 25° F on our back porch this morning, but the tomatoes, eggplant & squash are doing fine in the greenhouse thus far, and the vegetables growing outside are relatively cold tolerant.

Hello Jim and Peggy,
Stay safe on that ladder Jim.
I'm back from CO and hope to see you soon. We need to paint too (and so many other things). Always something to do. All the best from your neighbor and friend.

Hey Bill-

I looked down from the top of that ladder yesterday and thought of your accident, which caused me to be even more careful than usual. You'll notice the other ladder to the right there, which is ours, but it's just too unstable to use at the extended length I need, so we rented the heavy duty one I'm standing on from Twin Bear Rentals and walked home with it.

Looking forward to seeing you guys soon!

The house next door can give you paint color ideas, but don't copy your neighbor exactly. Choose colors that set your house apart, without clashing with nearby buildings.
