Our first tomato ripened last weekend and several more are about ready for picking.
Our train trip post is still coming but today is food co-op delivery day, so we'll be a bit busy for the next several hours. The truck just arrived!

We are a car-free retired couple living in a small 950 sq ft mountain cabin on less than 1/4 acre at 6,750 ft elevation. The native plant habitat we established on the property now exceeds 100 species and we grow organic vegetables on a small portion of the yard. Tomatoes in the greenhouse?
It's usual.

We're at almost 7,000 feet where the nights often get well below 50°
And, living under a pine forest, much of our yard & garden doesn't get full sun all day, including the greenhouse, but we still leave the doors & window open all day so it doesn't get too hot in there.
Do you remove the "suckers" off the vines to help them grow? I told my sister about this, she had not heard of it.
My favorite is an egg sandwich with cheese on toast and fresh tomato slices straight from the garden!
