Photovoltaic Solar Panel

This is the Kyocera solar panel that powers the pump in our waterfall.
It came paired with a pump that matches the output of the panel and included a 50 foot cord.

We bought the system online from wholesalepumps.com.

your waterfall is lovely!
What a timely post - we are just ready to add some pools, ponds, whatever to our yard and I have been looking for more information.

Thanks

So where do you set up the panel? How far from the waterfall, I mean.

The waterfall attracts a great variety of birds to the yard and eventually we hope to add a larger pond or vernal pool.

You can set the panel up anywhere within the 50 foot range of the cord. It just needs to be in full sun.

I really like this idea of a solar waterfall and may look into it. We have a very small pool with water plants, but have never used the waterfall. We tried a fountain but the animals (cats) want to play with it and keep knocking it over...sometimes almost emptying the pool. The waterfall would be more practical for us.

Very cool! I was recently thinking about doing something like this - a solar-powered bird bath, perhaps. Thanks for the info!
