Twenty-Six Years Ago Today

Peggy and I were married on the side of a Hawaiian volcano 26 years ago today. I was 33 and she was 27.
Our friends Bruce & Nancy Sutherland hosted our small ceremony on the deck of their home on the southwest slope of the Mauna Loa Volcano near the town of Captain Cook on the island of Hawaii.
Boy a lot happens in 26 years!
We are going out to breakfast this morning at our favorite little neighborhood cafe, and then I hope to spend a nice relaxing day at home with Peggy, the love of my life and my best friend.

Happy aniversary baby :)
Good work! L and I just passed the 25 year mark, and though our ceremony wasn't on a volcanic island (a small church in south St. Louis instead), we met the ensuing years with vigor and zest. Glad to see your love still flows hot and unstoppable!
Congratulations! You two still look as happy and (almost!)as young as in that wedding photo. It must be all that pure, healthy living! :>)
Just arrived back from the US and so sorry to hear about your son's accident. Sending get well wishes and hope he's making good progress now.

Belated congratulations to you both. I loved this post. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Kiwi-
I've been wondering where you were.
Jimmy is getting stronger every day and went for a 3 mile walk with Lindsay on the bike path yesterday.
He can see blurry shapes & colors but still not much detail.
Time will tell...
Although I'm late.
Happy Anniversary, congrats on so many years together!
belated happy aniversary, Jim and Peggy! Here's my wish for at least another 26!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!! May you have 26 more. Much love,
Gloria
