Good Morning!

I'm sipping fair trade coffee from a General Electric mug this morning wearing an organic cotton Center For Biological Diversity t-shirt looking out over the native plant habitat thinking about our friend Brad and the Coastal Sage Scrub Habitat he and his wife Amy have re-introduced to their family property in Lawndale.
Largely responsible for our decision to create a native garden, Brad also gave us our first plant, Penstemon eatonii, for the yard.
Brad's edible wild plant class, the desert & mountain wildflower classes, the guitar playing, the jam sessions, the sweat-lodge, the Sierra camping trips, fresh-squeezed pomegranate orange juice, Lil' Smokey's and hot springs all come to mind, as does wisdom, humor and enthusiasm...
...Brad also has a nice assortment of scary coffee cups, so here's to you Bradleyi, and thanks for 10 years of educational inspiration, fellowship, and plain old down to earth crank-related fun!

Hi Rose,
I'm glad you found the blog and hope you come to visit again.
I see you have a big dog there, about the size of our Dallas, and an orange cat that looks just like our kitty Neo. You may be half way around the world but I can see that our lives have similarities.
Life IS good! You look like a happy man.
Nancy
