Garden Girl Gets Gooseberry Giggles!

Peggy comes down with a case of the giggles while she shows off our morning harvest of Gooseberries.

"Hurry up and take the picture" she squealed, "there's a bug crawling up my arm", but when I informed her it was the hops tickling her, she just started giggling until her eyes welled up with tears of laughter.

Ahhhh, sweet lovely Peggy Sue.

these are lovely pictures, of course you have a good subject to work with, Peggy is lovely. I posted about gooseberries and a lot of people 'over there' said they hadn't heard of them. they grow well here, my friend Billy gave me generous amounts of his, I ma hoping to have some next year from two new bushes I have.

I've heard of them but I've never had them. The only wild berrieswe seem to find are blackberries, wild black cherries, and elderberries.

I miss my gooseberry bushes. I had them at the last home I lived in and I almost forgot about how much I loved them. I have just made a note to myself to plant some gooseberry bushes here right next to my raspberries.

Peggy looks so pretty. You must make her giggle more often in pictures. She certainly has a sweet smile.

Lovely picture of a beautiful woman! Of course I'm jealous of the hops...on my "must have" list for next year!

By the way Jim, I just started playing the Reeltime Travelers' "Little Bird of Heaven" today. Love that song. Thanks for turning me on to it!

What a tremendously precious photo. You need to enlarge this and frame it to hang over the wall!
