Decided to stop eavesdropping and say hello. Good to see others enjoying what real life has to offer and ignoring what mass marketing gurus tell us to do.

Mine is sitting on the table, yet unopened, waiting for the right moment to enjoy it. By the way, I was going to ask you what the ideal serving temperature is for a Bigfoot--my beer intuition tells me that I would be missing out on a lot if I drank it ice cold. Slightly cooler than room temperature maybe?

javaseeker-

welcome...

Deb-

I like it very cool, but not ice cold.

PS
I'm having trouble with our blog, I can't see this post other than through the view option in the dashboard edit page.

Earth Home Garden seems to have locked me out about 9:30 yesterday morning. Apparently I can post, edit posts, and leave comments, but what comes up when I search my own blog is the post from January 30th with the manzanita leaf which I have since deleted by mistake while trying to figure out what's going on.

Visitors here probably don't see that post anymore, and I don't see the one with the Bigfoot caps, except, like I said, through the dashboard editor where I'm adding this comment from.

Something bizarrre has happened, I notice my Yahoo homepage display is also stuck on January 31, 9:21 A.M., but when I click on the news button the current stories come up, it's just the initial page display that seems stuck in time, just like my blog.

I really don't like computers when they act like this!

Anybody out there have an idea what's going on here?

Jim- I was just thinking sometime I'll have to send you a Two Hearted Ale, a Kalamazoo Stout (Both from Bell's Brewery in Michigan) and a Summit Pale Ale from right here in St. Paul, MN.

And is it just coincidence that I am your only female beer buddy? Do more females not enjoy the finer things in life? ;)

Deb-

You are the only female I know who shares an enthusiasm for good beer on a similar level as my other beer buddies.

I don't know why that is...

Do you have any female friends who love beer?

I've only known one other woman who was really into beer, and her husband was a brewer at Anderson Valley (talk about a dream job!) It does seem to be a guy thing; maybe women are socialized to drink "light" beer and thus come to associate beer with swill. :)

Hey Jim,
I kept trying to post last week but for some reason, it wouldn't go through. I've got a buddy documenting the search for sasquatch. Do you think I could buy a bottle of big foot brew from your friend as a gift? :)

Wow Jim, after that line up your taste buds should be all at attention! I know I'm months behind but glad you are trying to find the "Blind Pig" I recently brewed at BJ's with my friends a brew called " Hop Worship" it's currently on tap in Woodland Hills. The brewmaster Zambo couldnt believe we tossed in about $100 worth of hops. Craig
